FARE CFO Bart Snell Wins DCA-Live Award

The Awards recognize DC-area Non-Profit CFOs who have made extraordinary contributions to the growth and health of their organizations over the past 12 months. This group of winners were nominated by their peers in non-profit finance and selected for their excellence and leadership.
Bart has been with FARE since 2019. He is an accomplished senior executive and board member with more than 30 years of success across the information technology, construction, publishing, and telecommunications industries. Leveraging extensive experience leading financial and operational functions, private debt and equity capital raising, and taking private companies through an initial public offering, he is a valued leader working with teams seeking growth, effectively communicating complex financial information, emphasizing the daily commitment to process improvement and unwavering pursuit of excellence. His broad areas of expertise include strategy, financial management and reporting, business process improvements, and executive leadership.
Throughout his executive career, Bart has held leadership positions with IBM, Aptara, Motient, ORBCOMM Global, 360Vision Software, and Mike’s Flooring Companies. He served on for-profit and not-for-profit Boards, and was a public officer at several private-sector companies. Bart received a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia, and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
